Three-night Autumn Break open to members of all CERSAs see below :

Monday 12th September to Friday 16th, Autumn Break Cheltenham. Dave Simm writes:-

Autumn Break September 2016-- Cheltenham Regency Hotel
The hotel was easily found, signposted clearly from the M5 (only 2 junctions used),but a little difficult to find from the east, to say the least. The staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful except on the Wednesday when the manager was off duty and a wedding reception was on the premises.
The Bedrooms, contents good, large comfortable bed, bath/toilet clean. Hotel well serviced, no creaking floorboards and lift silent running. Some door slamming on the wedding reception night. Food varied and sufficient, total lack of vegetables on occasions. A few dislikes , with some memorable meals- the apple crumble was excellent as was the last night's braised steak.
Bus stop outside the hotel gave access to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. Both have much to offer.
The trip to Stratford upon Avon to see the RSC "King Lear" production--again mixed reception, eg Seats too high and too hard, the view however was excellent. The production was puzzling in parts but the actor playing K Lear was superb. Stratford upon Avon not reached by local transport at a time to be able to use.
Much conversation and laughter with regrets about the missing members.
I was sufficiently impressed to rebook for September 2017, from 11th, at the same rates. a decision is not required at the present. Please consider all aspects carefully e.g.  Health and travel.
I would welcome your comments both good and bad.
